3M™ Electrical Insulating Sealer 1601 is an electrical-grade, fast-drying sealer and insulator. This sealer comes in a pressurized can and helps to protect surfaces from weather, moisture, corrosion, oil, alkalis and acids. Easily reaches inaccessible spots.
How To Use?
Use Insulating Spray Sealer to spray over insulation on wire and cable splices, as a general-purpose sealer or for touch-up insulation on motor windings and frames.
Techniques :
1. Shake well. Open and shut valve COMPLETELY with forefinger when spraying.
2. Keep fingertip behind spray head to avoid forming droplets on painted surface.
3. Partial valve depression reduces pressure and causes faulty spray.
ABSOLUTE MUST : Hold the can no closer than 10 to 12 inches from surface being sprayed.
To prevent clogging, turn can upside down and spray short jet of clear gas after each job. Do not expose to extreme hot or cold.
